As Commercial Manager, my role is to make sure you, our customers are looked after at all times, from initial enquiry through to resolving any site installation issues you or your team might encounter.
I always get a buzz out of helping a customer solve a particular issue.
I've seen pictures of me painting factory walls at ALM when I was three years old so I suppose I've always been involved in the business in some way from an early age however, I officially started working here when I was 17, on the shop floor as an apprentice, working my way from the assembly line, to simple machining, then running some of our CNC machines before developing my programming skills. I worked up to the position of lead quality engineer, programming our co-ordinate measuring machine to automatically inspect components coming from our production lines.
After honing these skills, I moved into the sales team, working out requirements from customer drawings and site plans before assuming my current role.
It's really important to me that I continue to uphold the companies values of "delivering awesome service" to every customer large or small, as we all believe this is key to our continued success as a British based manufacturer. With both Tony & Lesley here to keep me on track, I'm learning quickly and look forward to supporting you in pursuit of your needs.
Outside of work I enjoy competing in Rallies, as both driver and co-driver, motorcycle track days, skiing and anything else that involves speed and adrenalin.
